Using Management Controls to enable Innovation

This workshop is aimed specifically at those involved in managing a business unit or functional area (such as R&D, operations, sales, commercial, finance, marketing) and who play key roles in enabling successful innovation.
Participants will learn about the following:
• Role of management controls at different stages of the innovation process
• Balancing creativity and efficiency in the innovation process
• Role of belief systems, strategy and boundaries in innovation
• Using feedback and measurement systems in innovation
• Role of constraints in effective innovation
The session will be interactive and will present opportunities to question assumptions, share experiences and discuss challenges for managing innovation.
